SCHOLARSHIPS
The Sickle Cell Community Consortium is proud to offer scholarship opportunities to help make Warrior Con accessible for warriors, caregivers, and families affected by sickle cell disease. We understand that financial barriers often prevent members of our community from participating in vital education, connection, and advocacy events. Our goal is to ensure every voice is heard, valued, and present - regardless of financial means.
We are committed to removing barriers that prevent warriors and caregivers from accessing the education, community, and healing found at Warrior Con. While we’ve already discounted registration to just $50 per person, we also offer several scholarship types to further assist families and individuals in need.
Below is an overview of the four scholarship types available for the 2025 Convention:

Local Commuter /Registration-ONLY Scholarship
Designed primarily for attendees who live in the Orlando area, this scholarship reduces the cost of daily registration and meals without overnight hotel stays. It's perfect for local warriors, teens, and caregivers who want to attend the event while commuting from home. The Registration Scholarship offers further reduced registration fees for members of the local Florida sickle cell community. Recipients will receive a special code from a participating Florida hospital, clinic, or partner organization. This scholarship is ideal for those who can commute or cover their own lodging but still need assistance attending. Although designed primarily for local Florida sickle cell warriors and caregivers, others may also be awarded this scholarship. In special cases, this scholarship type can be combined with the
Direct Lodging Scholarship.
