MEN'S TRACK: Hosted by Sickle M.A.N.

Too often underrepresented in chronic illness spaces, the Men’s Track is a safe, affirming space for:

 

  • Male warriors and caregivers

 

  • Fathers of warriors

 

  • Brothers, partners, and allies

 

  • Discussions address masculinity and illness, fatherhood, mental health, and advocacy that offers a unique platform for honest connection, strength, and healing among men in the community.

Post-Transplant Track: Life After the Cure
Hosted by: Sickle Cell Survivors

For warriors who have undergone curative therapies like bone marrow or stem cell transplants, the Post-Transplant

 

Track offers:

 

  • Support on recovery and long-term care

 

  • Guidance on identity and survivorship

 

  • Community with fellow post-transplant warriors

 

  • Space for sharing personal journeys and reclaiming purpose

 

  • This track honors the evolving stories of warriors who are thriving beyond the disease.

Youth, Teen & Young Adult Track

Our Young Adult Track serves warriors and caregivers aged 13–25, offering a powerful blend of:

 

  • Leadership and self-advocacy workshops

 

  • College and career guidance

 

  • Peer mentoring and community-building

 

  • Real talk sessions on relationships, independence, and mental health

 

  • This track fosters identity, confidence, and the readiness to lead—in life and in the fight for health equity.

Trait Track: Carriers & Conversations
Hosted by: The As One Foundation

The Trait Track is an educational and advocacy-focused path for individuals with sickle cell trait and their families. It provides:

 

  • Clarification of the risks, myths, and realities of trait

 

  • Insights into reproductive health and family planning

 

  • Resources to inform trait carriers and empower communities

 

  • With rising awareness of complications tied to trait, this track supports prevention, preparation, and powerful conversations.

Nursery, Children Tracks and Next Generation Tracks

Children's Track I: SC3 Kids & Children's Track II: SC3 Next Generation

 

​Young children (ages 5–11 and 12-15) can engage in our vibrant Children’s Track, filled with:

 

  • Art therapy and interactive play

 

  • Story time with warrior heroes

 

  • Movement and mindfulness sessions

 

  • Age-appropriate education on the sickle cell journey

 

This is more than childcare—it’s a nurturing, inclusive experience where kids can learn, play, and belong.
